Hello! So today is Deepavali and i wish all the Hindus a wonderful Deepavali. So I recently hosted a New Zealand exchange student for four nights and I had the most amazing time ever. His name is David and he was such a polite person and also really humorous. We did so many things over the weekend. We went to Chinatown, Singapore Flyer, cyling at East Coast Park (where he fell down and had a minor injury) as well as ION Orchard.

He kept saying how there were so many shopping centres here and yes, that is very true. In every town area there is bound to be one shopping centre. Anyways it was really sad when he left with his school to continue their sightseeing on their own. I didn't think i would cry but seeing my other friends cry, i couldn't help myself. I burst into tears as we bid farewell to them. I felt awfully depressed as well afterwards and had a very small existential crisis. It was really sad that that farewell could have been our last one. But I really hope not. I hope to continuously keep in touch with him and possibly meet up with him again if he were to come to Singapore again or if I were to go to New
Zealand.

It's also really depressing knowing that we will be about 8000km away from each other. It was really nice getting to know him and that was the most amazing experience i have possibly ever had in my entire life.

I bought a new stuff toy which looks like a really slim bear with rainbow horizontal stripes all over his body and he has unusually long arms and legs. Nonetheless i think it's adorable and I'll probably name him David in remembrance of David when we bought it together. I also bought my first set of Sharpies ever! They're just all in different colours and they're beautiful. I love them so much. I really appreciate my parents for allowing me to get them for myself. I hope with these Sharpies i will be able to muster up some courage to draw, seeing how i suck at drawing and have discouraged myself from ever drawing again.

Good news! I did tremendously well for my Additional Mathematics! I actually did average for my first test and then in mid-year i actually passed barely. My third test; i failed terribly. Not even exaggerating. I was the worst in my class. I actually got a 10 out of 25. How did that even happen?? Anyway in my final year exams, i got a 93 out of a 100 and I was so freaking shocked. What the **** even. My teacher was so happy for me and i was really happy for me. I did relatively okay for my other subjects. At least i passed all of them and i'm just so relieved it's over.

I also recently went to X Scpae Singapore. It was so cool! It was a real life escape room and we nearly finished it. We actually got all the rooms opened but we couldn't finish the puzzles in time. I was really frustrated at one point though. Okay so we unlocked a room and found a chest in it. One of my group members got to it and started meddling with the lock on the chest. I spotted something right above the lock which were some colours. I actually pointed it out to her and she simply brushed it off and didn't give a shit about it anymore. She completely ignored me afterwards.

"Hey, look there's like colours over here. Maybe it means something"
"Oh yeah sure ejrhgieqgpiuwhrpg"

My thoughts? Go kill yourself. Turns out when the staff member came in after our time was up, he did mention the colour codes on the chest and i was just infuriated at her. Gosh.

Calming down. I've three movie money and one of them is due by the end of november. I'm really hoping to go catch a movie on my own but i'd have to really persuade my mum. I guess i'll need to wait for a while first because all the movies that are showing right now are mostly NC16 or M18 and R21. What is happening to the movie industry gosh.

I'm pretty sure this post is terrifyingly long enough. I'll stop here and who knows what'll happen till the next time i update this damn blog. See ya.
